The subdistrict brackets have been released by the NSAA. Gibbon will compete in the C1-10 Subdistrict held at Kearney High School on Monday, October 31. The volleyball triangular scheduled at Nebraska Christian in Central City on Thursday, October 26, will now be a VARSITY DUAL with Nebraska Christian only starting at 7 pm.
The Loup City varsity volleyball tournament will begin at 10:00 a.m. this Saturday, October 21. This is a change to the calendar.
Congratulations to the boys and girls cross country teams for qualifying for the state meet, which will be held at Kearney Country Club on Friday, October 20. The boys team won the District Championship at Arapahoe on Thursday and the girls team finished third. The Class D girls will run at 2:00 pm and the Class D boys race will begin at 3:00 pm. The JV football game scheduled on Monday, October 16, has been moved to Centura. This will be a 3-team jamboree-style game (Gibbon, Centura, Doniphan-Trumbull) and begin at 6:00 pm.
The junior high football game that was postponed on September 25 due to rain has been rescheduled for Monday, October 16. That game versus Doniphan-Trumbull will begin at 4:30 pm and will be played in Gibbon.

A reminder to all Gibbon football fans, this week’s varsity football game scheduled for Friday, September 29, at Sandy Creek has been moved to Thursday, September 28. Kickoff will be at 7 pm and Sandy Creek will still host the game.

This Thursday, September 21, will be parents night for the high school volleyball team during the Gibbon/Broken Bow/Centura triangular. Parents will be introduced prior the warmups of the last game of the triangular.
